Fees and billing
My full service fee is $1800.00. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page for financing questions or accommodation requests. I require a nonrefundable 50% deposit when we sign our contract and final payment is due at 38 weeks gestation. I am MORE than open to discussing payment plans and variations of the timing. In the event that my back up doula is required the fee remains the same, but will be transferred to them. I only take two to four doula clients per month. From our first consultation I will hold your place for seven days while you make your decision. 12 hours of in person support is included in my fee. After 12 hours of in person birthing time support the fee becomes $25.00 per hour to be billed and paid within 1 month postpartum. After 24 hours the hourly becomes $50.00 per hour.
I am MORE than open to discussing payment plans and variations of the timing.
Discounts offered
Military discount for deployed or gold star families - 20%
Low income discount completely open for discussion
Extenuating circumstances clients such as teen pregnancy, survivor, refugee, and other factors will be handled with the utmost respect and consideration of fee.
I can assure you that I am completely open to discussing your particular circumstance. Please do not be shy in discussing finances with me. I am a very open and understanding person. I personally had never had money and have always had to be "creative" in fulfilling mine and my family's needs and am more than happy to help you to do the same. I believe EVERY person who wants a doula should have one, and I would love to help ensure that that happens.
"Scheduling"
Please contact me as soon as you suspect the onset of labor. I can be helpful in determining "active labor". Keep in mind that it can take me up to 2 hours to get to you from the time you call me. I will provide you with both my cell phone number and a back up number for you to reach me on. I will be completely available to you 24/7 within two weeks of either side of your due date. If I am aware of upcoming conflicts my back up doula will be a complete substitute for all that is outlined here. Once active labor is determined I would be happy to come to wherever you feel comfortable laboring or to head straight to the hospital if it is that time. I will be with you until you are ready for me to leave.
Cancellation
In the rare instance that a cancellation is required on my part all contractual obligations will be transferred to my back up doula. In the even more rare instance of a complete failure of support on my part I will issue a full refund minus any previously accrued expenses. Once our contract is signed the client is responsible to provide payment outlined within.
Limitations and liability
As your doula I am NOT a medical professional. While I have an extensive knowledge base and can be an excellent resource, I am no substitute for your MD, CNM, or RN.
